My husband, our three year old and I stayed at the Riverside Motel in room 1 which faces the beautiful lake. The room had a king bed, sofa, table and chairs and made us feel very homey. The motel is conveniently located close to the Hayward town center; we walked there to visit the little shops and coffee café.
Hayward, WI
We stayed at the Riverside Motel in Hayward recently (Jan 2020) after a long day skiing in the Burke trail. What a nice cozy room conveniently located near the center of Hayward. Our room was super clean and warm with ample space to hang out all of our cold, wet clothes to dry.

I come up to Hayward from the Twin Cities to ski the Birkie trail over the past New Year’s weekends. Found a great deal on a room at the Riverside Motel. I’ve always wanted to check it out. It was very well maintained and clean. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. Will definitely stay here again!
Brooklyn Park, MN
This is a very nice room. Bed is ferm, clean, warm. Heater works well. Nice microwave, fridge. Bathroom is clean. TV is easy to use (no problem figuring out Chanel’s) Parking lot is limited (the only problem). We will recommend your Motel to others. We will return.
Steves Point, WI
My favorite place to stay in Hayward. I visit the area several times each year and am never disappointed. Rooms are clean and large with an inviting “up north” feel. Close to downtown, ski, bike and snowmobile trails. Includes all the amenities you would expect from good motels. Highly recommended-give it a try!
Hayward is a Northwoods town famous for great fishing, miles of ATV trails, and for hosting two of the world's top racing events – the American Birkebeiner cross-country ski race and the Chequamegon Fat Tire bicycle race. It's also home to the world's largest musky, a giant fiberglass fish statue outside the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame.
